This is a portrait of a beautiful Kookaburra I met whilst on holiday in Noosa. The little guy was less than a metre from my camera lens, yet he didn't flitch from the attention.
This is a mix media piece of ink, acrylic as well as metallic acrylic paint, crayons, texta's- basically what ever was closest at hand. It was a spontaneous painting, painted with a lot of passion. To paint it I used my fingers, various spatulas, sticks as well as the traditional paint brush.
