Your local pub, RSL, or bar is a place I think a lot of have taken for granted lately. Being able to have the freedom to go there to relax, talk, be social, watch a game on TV, it doesn't seem like a big deal but weirdly it is. Having the knowledge that if you feel like catching up with a mate, or you need a quick feed and can't be bothered to cook, your local is a creature comfort that fulfils these needs even if you don't go there all the time. It's only when you can't go that you appreciate it. This is a scene from everyday life, the midday Tradie "Lunch Break" from the job site down the road, normally people wouldn't blink twice at this mundane part of life but there is beauty in the freedom to do this.
Im looking forward to a Schnitty and some pub trivia.
