The Fight (Part 2)

This is the second of "The Fight" Diptych, again I will leave what was said ambiguous to the audience...I wonder about what they're feeling now, what they wish they had said, what they may still be saying. Perhaps they have since resolved their issue, or perhaps they haven't spoken since the fight. I will leave it up to you to decide the story between the couple, but please dont fight about it...just talk. Even if its confronting to hear, the truth is better than a kind lie.

Im fascinated to see how people choose to read into this work, perhaps it will be more a reflection of their own lives than the lives of the couple in question, maybe they will only buy one side of the story so to speak, or maybe they will change the positions of the artworks to see what other ways there may be to interpret the fight, maybe that'll make it more or less accurate. I just hope people discuss more, even if they disagree, hopefully they'll do it respectfully with the goal of understanding each other.

I find that my art enables me to express elements of my world that can't necessarily be seen by the naked eye, its an attempt at conveying something a bit intangible. Abstraction is the primary way I communicate my ideas and experiences in art.
The naive and somewhat primitive lines, shapes, colours and textures I use are my attempt at capturing the atmosphere, personality or feeling of a place or person I have encountered in my life, realism or a photograph in my opinion doesn't always capture these elements of the world.
I feel that my art brings these to the surface...it shows the soul of something, somewhere, or someone. Perhaps you will see someone you know within my strange works, maybe even yourself.
