We often underestimate the beauty of our own country, maybe because we think it will always be there or because its more easy to access because we live there we generally forget or overlook it...but you shouldn't. The Warrumbungles is a beautiful place, as is the mountainous feature Crater Bluff. If you haven't, you must see it. For me personally i felt that the crater bluff looked like a stone figure slowly emerging from its surroundings. I was inspired by the life the of this place, the textures, patterns and shapes are references from the surrounding trees and rock formations in the area.
There is a unique beauty to places like this, don't over look what is in your own proverbial backyard.
Go and see it for yourself, be grateful for the land on which you live.
