Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This is the second in my bathers series and is part of a Triptych that began with 'Ive gotta fix my tan lines', this one is probably my favourite. It captures that typical experience we've all had with the perils of the seagulls and the chips. Theres still something calming about this scene while in reality the old bloke this painting is based on did flip his lid and swear like crazy at the bird. In my mind theres an entire world of little scenes like this playing out on the cement, with salt, sun and baths. I hope i have the desire to keep doing more of these in the future. maybe i'll do something very large to illustrate what im day dreaming about.
