This painting explores the intersection between two parts of the environment we live in, Land and Sea. While this particular place I've painted oddest exist in reality it is based on memories of cities, towns and beaches and sea scapes along the coast which I have visited or lived in. There's a beautiful contrast in places like this, the angular manmade architecture and the natural flowing lines and shapes of the ocean and coastline come together to form an enticing space explore. Maybe that's why so many of us wish to live in places like this.
