Tahmineh

I created this artwork at turbulent time due to brutal Massacre in my home country. I treated this as a meditation piece including a soothing and calming palette with minimum contrast, yet the red outlines eventually let some feelings out eventually.
I painted this wet on wet in Alla Prima style from life. Named after Tahmineh in Persian Shahnameh whose son was killed by Rustam in a war as he did not know he was facing his own son.
