Artwork Description

A MISSING PIECE-
This feeling had set up camp within him, for the majority of his life, but he could never put his finger on it exactly.
On occasion he felt the multitude of pieces were pushing his head under the surface, then other times, he desperately looked for a piece to hold onto so he could come to the surface.
Around others it appeared that all his pieces fit perfectly together, but when alone, he sat confused amongst the pieces scattered on the floor.
Something was missing, but the act of trying to find it, gave him a purpose to continue.
Maybe we’re not meant to have all the pieces?

Artist Bio

I navigate my thoughts through my art, whether it be an outlet for internal energy or art therapy pieces to calm my mind and my Schizophrenia.
The process of creating internal thoughts into a visual identity is a rabbit hole that can stretch for an eternity.
The moments shared between the artist and their works, is a fascinating bond.. Every piece has my emotions attached to it, making it more than just canvas and paint.
I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
