Artwork Description

Comfort in Cohesiveness -
The familiarity offered an intellectual safe space.
A moment to take a break, whilst constantly working.
It had always been dictated that cohesiveness was a must in this craft, but she resisted this notion.
It was more like a reset button for her, knowing that the feeling of unfamiliarity, was just around the corner.
She had become accustomed to balancing calm with chaos, and gained the ability to sit perfectly, within both.

Acrylic and ink on 100% cotton canvas, sealed with artists UV protective varnish to prevent fading.
This piece comes shipped in a tube and measures approximately 170cm x 170cm. Once stretched, will measure approximately 150cm x 150cm.

As an artist, I find shipping larger works in tubes unstretched is a safer and more cost effective option for both artist and customer.

Artist Bio

I navigate my thoughts through my art, whether it be an outlet for internal energy or art therapy pieces to calm my mind and my Schizophrenia.
The process of creating internal thoughts into a visual identity is a rabbit hole that can stretch for an eternity.
The moments shared between the artist and their works, is a fascinating bond.. Every piece has my emotions attached to it, making it more than just canvas and paint.
I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
