Artwork Description

Internal Trickery-
To become accustom to the relentlessness of them was a factor she hadn’t considered in the past.
The sweet relief that came with the simmering down of, what seemed like, a thousand whispers at once.
None of which were her own.
Staying focused on the external, often led to exhaustion, with the internal trickery finally retreating as the victor.
But she never considered defeat, nor did she, turn down a battle.
She called on every fibre of strength, strategy and resilience to fight the invisible battle of this internal trickery.
All in the hope, of one day, coexisting peacefully.

Artist Bio

I navigate my thoughts through my art, whether it be an outlet for internal energy or art therapy pieces to calm my mind and my Schizophrenia.
The process of creating internal thoughts into a visual identity is a rabbit hole that can stretch for an eternity.
The moments shared between the artist and their works, is a fascinating bond.. Every piece has my emotions attached to it, making it more than just canvas and paint.
I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
