Morning Coffee on the Porch-
Unlike the chirping birds, she wasn’t quite ready to start her day just yet.
As she walked barefoot towards her favourite chair, she felt the warmth of the wooden porch beneath her feet, kissed by the morning sun.
Both hands wrapped around her morning coffee, completing the daily ritual of her first brew.
As she sat and pondered the world that looked back at her, excitement rose within.
Her optimism about what the days would bring and the possibilities of the things she could achieve had finally returned after what had seemed like a lifetime without it.
As she lifted the cup to her lips, a hint of a smile appeared on her face.

I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
