Artwork Description

Night Sky-
Her memory failed her, naming the childhood story that came to mind, when she looked up at the night sky.
But she remembered the idea behind it.
After all, it was one of the main things that helped her through those times, not to mention things to come.
The idea that when you look up at the night sky, you are looking up at billions of twinkling eyes, looking back at you.
And these twinkling eyes have seen what you are yet to.
They have seen the good people you will meet, and never want to let go of.
They have seen a world where you are safe and loved.
They have seen laughter and happiness return to you once again.
So now at night, the woman she has become, looks up.
To tell the twinkling stars, I can finally see it too.

Artist Bio

I navigate my thoughts through my art, whether it be an outlet for internal energy or art therapy pieces to calm my mind and my Schizophrenia.
The process of creating internal thoughts into a visual identity is a rabbit hole that can stretch for an eternity.
The moments shared between the artist and their works, is a fascinating bond.. Every piece has my emotions attached to it, making it more than just canvas and paint.
I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
