Artwork Description

SPILLING OVER-
A blank stare signalled internal chaos, behind her eyes, which left nothing for the outside world.
Her lips mouthed words, but barely moved, like she was trying to solve an impossible equation.
He could tell there was a conversation taking place, that he was not a part of, even though they were the only ones in the kitchen.
He had become comfortable enough to let these moments breathe, without intervening, when they presented no threat.
It could be mesmerising at times, staring at her blankness and beauty, in those moments.
Suddenly the pot on the stove started to bubble and spill over, as he touched her arm to bring her back to reality, the light in her eyes returned.

Artist Bio

I navigate my thoughts through my art, whether it be an outlet for internal energy or art therapy pieces to calm my mind and my Schizophrenia.
The process of creating internal thoughts into a visual identity is a rabbit hole that can stretch for an eternity.
The moments shared between the artist and their works, is a fascinating bond.. Every piece has my emotions attached to it, making it more than just canvas and paint.
I often compose words after staring at a finished piece, not to lead the viewer as such, but to insight their own thought process.
My art may vary as much as my mind will, allowing myself freedom and an authenticity in the art I create.
Letting go of fear and opening yourself up to vulnerability is a necessity when creating art.
