My names Samara and I am of Eastern Arrentre descent. I have loved art since I was little often drawing or making something. My Nana is an Indigenous artist from the Stolen Generations who is one of my biggest inspirations. I often am a self-proclaimed nerd who loves anime, gaming and LARP which I like to try to represent in my art. Recently I have found a love for watercolour painting, acrylic painting and digital painting. I am a long way from home and have felt disconnected from family so have been using dot painting as a way to reconnect with my family and culture.
