Lady Macbeth was one my favourite characters to always see how different actresses play the role.
In this painting shows inside the back room of stage which the actress is getting ready to go on stage.
Symbolically, the armchair is representing lady Macbeth’s ambitious, combination of the red and darker sides is showing her frightening and manipulative character.
Mirror and make up show inner and outer contradictions of a person.
