Blur- A feeling we are all familiar with. It happens within life all too often. This is an ode to acknowledging this feeling and focusing in on it the create focus and an idea of stability.

Samuel McAleer AKA Smackas, is a multi disciplinary artist whose art journey has lead from the world of murals into the fine art world. Pulling elements of his mural practice into the smaller scale in his studio work. Pushing the limits of how small he can work with aerosol. Sam's style is heavily realism oriented with a surrealist touch. His work draws the viewer to a place of familiarity whilst taking them away from their place of viewing. Sam is inspired by the surrounding environments he crosses in his day to day and worldly travels , pulling emotions and feelings and re-creating these in a visual state.
