An ode to opening your mind and seeing beyond the ordinary. Finding familiarity within the piece but also a fun escape that leaves the viewer chasing their own interpretation of where "Open" leads their imagination too. In this piece I wanted to bring techniques learnt through painting murals to the smaller scale while integrating my brush practice to produce a visually striking piece that uses texture to creating feelings and spark the imagination.
