Sandra Harald (Sandra Harald Art Connection)
I am an artist in Central Queensland, I primarily work on paper, using ink, acrylics, and gouache as my preferred mediums. I specialize in a style of painting known as photo realism. In this technique, I strive to depict subjects with meticulous realism, often employing an airbrush to create backgrounds that mimic the look of photographs. My creative journey as a self-taught artist began back in 2013.
I firmly believe that art has the power to transport us from the present moment into a realm of emotion, shaped by our personal encounters with the world. I'm proud to be a member of the Central Queensland Contemporary Artists (CQCA) group, which has provided me with wonderful opportunities to connect and collaborate with fellow artists.
My artwork has graced the walls of multiple galleries throughout Central Queensland, and I've even had the honor of hosting my own solo exhibition. Additionally, I've taken part in various competitions. achieving second place in a themed category in one of them. My pieces have found new homes both within Australia and around the world.
My primary artistic focus revolves around the vibrant world of Australian birds. My goal is to share the joy of Australia's avian wonders with others.
