Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Summer Glory was inspired by the beautiful pink flowering gum that was in full bloom in late summer in Tasmania. I stopped by the side of the road and picked a small branch from a tree to take home and paint. For a slightly more contemporary composition, I placed the branch on a piece of grey linen and photographed it from a birds eye perspective.
Summer Glory is an oil painting on a 76 x 76 cm square stretched canvas. The canvas had deep 3.5 cm edges which are painted in grey like the front of the image. The canvas has a wire on the back and is ready to hang.
