With a lifelong love of art and all things creative, I draw inspiration from the flora of Gippsland, Victoria and my own extensive gardens. Iβm a trained horticulturist, the environment has been the focus of my working life, my hobbies and now influencing my art.
Having commenced painting seriously in 2005, I predominantly self taught and will spend hours trying to recreate the beauty of Mother Nature. Working from my country studio I have ready access to a wide range of plant species.
I have participated in group exhibitions in my hometown of Sale, Gippsland with my work in high demand throughout the region. I look forward to continuing my journey with floral art in the medium of oils and expanding my experience with Australian native birds and animals in pastels.
I enjoys getting out in the great outdoors of Gippsland to photograph amazing flora and fauna for reference material which ensures all my art works are original.
