The inspiration behind this painting is being washed up and swirled around by the surf in a sunset swim on a warm summers night. The fun, freedom and excitement of trying to catch a wave, and not knowing where it will take you. The ocean is a huge inspiration to my work. The freedom, colour and movement provides endless ideas in my painting practice.
