I kept thinking about that quiet moment on the road when the light goes soft and everything slows down. The horse steady, the dogs moving ahead, the windmill still in the distance.
The pink and purple sky felt important. It gives the whole scene that end-of-day feeling without needing much else. I left the brushwork open so the dust and the heat could still sit in the paint.

I paint and draw what I see in my world. As a self-taught artist, I’ve been drawing all my life, but since 2009, I’ve truly dedicated myself to my craft. My work is bold, bright, and real, capturing the raw beauty of the Australian outback, its wildlife, and the people who call it home.
