Sorrento I

This piece was created to immerse viewers into the lively waters of Sorrento Beach, WA. This depiction of Sorrento Beach brings a piece of paradise and tranquillity into the home.

The round canvas references the shape of the sun and moves the eye around the painting and along the line of the wave.

The water depicted is soft, and smooth, while also breaking into a wave in the focal point of the piece. The slight lilt in the wave entices the viewer to anticipate the sound of the breaking wave, further inviting them to sandy shores.
