Mother humpback whales are known to be protective of their baby calf’s, often seen to be protecting their baby’s from potential danger.
In this Mama and baby Humpback whale study, I wanted to capture the love and special bond between them. As they calmly swim beneath the oceans surface.
Swimming along a beige / sand coloured background, I painted the whales with red and pink undertones. With the final layer bright vivid and midnight blues.
