Artwork Description

This artwork features a refined, soft olive tone that softly blends to blush and brown. With a richly textured surface that adds depth and character, the finish is matte and earthy, with subtle variations in shade that give it a natural, weathered feel. The texture is organic and sandy, which enhances its calming, grounded aesthetic. It’s minimal yet tactile, making it a quiet statement piece that brings warmth and understated elegance to a space.

It is created on a single thickness canvas so I would recommend framing but the edges are painted a matching shade of soft Olive if you choose to hang it unframed.

Artist Bio

Sarah Farinski is a Melbourne-based abstract artist who has been creating and selling art for the past six years. She creates textured abstract artworks using a variety of mediums, including modelling paste, plaster and sand. Her work is largely inspired by the natural world, drawing on seascapes, expansive skies, earthy tones and organic textures. She is particularly drawn to neutral and muted colour palettes and enjoys creating harmonious combinations of colour and texture that bring depth and visual interest to an interior while still allowing the space to feel calm and balanced.

Although her work often reflects a few recognisable styles, Sarah enjoys experimenting and stepping outside her usual approach from time to time. While neutrals remain a constant influence, she occasionally introduces bolder or more colourful palettes simply to keep the creative process fresh and explore something different.

Each artwork is created with an appreciation for texture, organic movement and considered colour. Whether subtle and tonal or more expressive and colourful, Sarah's work is designed to complement a range of interiors while bringing warmth, depth and a sense of individuality to a space.
