Artwork Description

Part of my Wabi-Sabi Stone Collection, Nagomi Stone celebrates the beauty of calmness, balance and imperfect natural forms. Inspired by weathered surfaces shaped by time, this original textured artwork embraces the quiet elegance at the heart of wabi-sabi design.

Heavy layers of texture create a richly tactile surface, revealing subtle variations in tone and depth. Olive-grey hues at the base gradually soften into warm neutral beiges above, creating a gentle ombré effect that evokes stone, earth and natural mineral formations. Hints of brown emerge through the textured layers, particularly around the centre of the piece, adding warmth and organic character.

With its earthy palette and sculptural texture, Nagomi Stone brings a sense of serenity and grounding to contemporary interiors. It is particularly well suited to Japandi, modern organic, minimalist and wabi-sabi spaces.

Artist Bio

Welcome to my collection.

I create original textured abstract artworks inspired by nature, organic forms and the beauty of imperfect surfaces. Using acrylics, plaster and mixed media, I build layered artworks that bring depth, softness and a sense of calm to a space.

My work is influenced by natural elements such as stone, water and weathered landscapes, and often features earthy neutrals, muted greens and gentle tonal palettes. I love creating pieces that feel grounded, timeless and easy to live with.

Every painting is an original, handcrafted artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints, so each piece remains completely unique.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to explore my work.
