Artwork Description

Nendo Stone is a heavily textured original abstract artwork inspired by the natural tones and organic surfaces found in the landscape. Created using sand and plaster, the surface features layers of tactile texture in a warm palette of earthy browns, clay, terracotta and muted neutral tones.

Designed to complement Japandi, minimalist, Mediterranean and organic modern interiors, Nendo Stone brings warmth, depth and subtle visual interest to a space while maintaining a calm and understated aesthetic.

The artwork is an original piece, signed on the front and created on a lightweight, thin-profile canvas with the edges painted a dark shade of clay. While the artwork can be hung as is, framing is recommended. A frame in your choice of style and finish can be arranged at checkout to suit your interior.

Sarah Farinski is a Melbourne-based abstract artist who has been creating and selling art for the past six years. She creates textured abstract artworks using a variety of mediums, including modelling paste, plaster and sand. Her work is largely inspired by the natural world, drawing on seascapes, expansive skies, earthy tones and organic textures. She is particularly drawn to neutral and muted colour palettes and enjoys creating harmonious combinations of colour and texture that bring depth and visual interest to an interior while still allowing the space to feel calm and balanced.

Although her work often reflects a few recognisable styles, Sarah enjoys experimenting and stepping outside her usual approach from time to time. While neutrals remain a constant influence, she occasionally introduces bolder or more colourful palettes simply to keep the creative process fresh and explore something different.

Each artwork is created with an appreciation for texture, organic movement and considered colour. Whether subtle and tonal or more expressive and colourful, Sarah's work is designed to complement a range of interiors while bringing warmth, depth and a sense of individuality to a space.
