This series of collage works were created as a response to the 2021 international collage challenge - Februllage - hosted by the Edinburgh Collage Collective and the Scandinavian Collage Museum. Each day in February, collage artists were presented with a word prompt which is imbued in each of these individual collages. Collage is an art form I have dabbled in over many years and I am fascinated how the remixing of photo-media and additional mark-making can re-present ideas and meaning. I particularly enjoy remixing images and texts from historical and vintage printed papers such as old school books, vintage non-fiction as well as maps, dress patterns, and fashion magazines.

I hope you enjoy the fun and nostalgic qualities in these collages and how they form new meaning for you to enjoy every day!

The prompt word for this collage was "window". I was inspired by the cool vintage pictures and illustrations that I found in a children's books from the 70's.
