I have always loved botany and the study of flowers and plants. I have grown up in a long tradition of Dutch nursery men and women, so it is no surprise that painting flowers in the still life traditions of the Dutch masters is something I feel deeply connected to.

I hope you enjoy the simple study of botanical nature, and how light affects the texture, colour and intricacies of plants that I have tried to capture.
I’m also a bit obsessed with vintage and ceramic vases, jars and rustic accoutrements, items which often appear in my still life compositions.
