This artwork is part of my feminine portrait collection 'Resonance' and was was inspired by author Glennon Doyle's incredible book,'Untamed'. If you've read it, you'll know, and if you haven't, you simply must! This piece invites you to explore your inner self, free from external influences and supposed societal norms, to discover your true purpose and desires. It was created using a monochrome palette of superior quality coloured pencils. Each print of the original coloured pencil and pastel drawing is made on 320gsm archival fine art paper to give an excellent replication of the original.

I am a British coloured pencil artist now residing in the beautiful hinterland of Queensland Australia. Through vibrant and intricate work that challenges my innate drive for detail, I want to evoke emotion and to create a resonance with the viewer. To allow them to take a moment to look within, to their most authentic selves and to question what they are presenting to the world. I am inspired by my own lived experiences and my keen observations of the world and people around me. Creating art that allows and invites you to pause and take a moment to reflect, to me, is essential in this fast paced world.
