Body Bloom is a series that exudes a sense of sophistication with the use of a darkened canvas. Providing the perfect background, the spotlight then reflects to the figurative nature of the series. A series that explores the nature of growth within ourselves and our relationships as we develop and bloom. A time when we come into full beauty and health, when we flourish.

The 16th of the series is about a dynamic woman. A woman that dazzles all she meets with her lively display of energy that is mesmorising. With a confidence in the way she speaks and frames her body language she impresses everyone she meets. You will find my work is generally more abstract figurative in nature, but I often also delve back to painting straight abstract. In fact ,most years I create a new series for my portfolio, encompassing a different theme and style to other years. I love this fun freedom of being able to paint what comes naturally. To see what wonderful ride my imagination takes me on each series. This allows my true spirit to shine and create the right energy for each work I create. After all life is too short to be boring to paint the same style over and over, so lets jazz it up a bit!

Although my work is often a real statement piece capturing your senses with a stunning visual experience, I want you to experience more than just beauty. I want you to feel the story behind the strokes of paint. I want to take you on an emotional, connective journey with my arts powerful story.
