Artwork Description

There was a silence in my art creation, a pause of hesitation. Waiting for the perfect mood to paint only delayed my return to the easel. Eventually, fed up with feeling unmotivated, I pushed myself to begin a new project. This was incredibly hard at first, but as I painted, my mind grew calmer, and the inspiration I yearned for appeared. This experience reminded me that taking the first step can be enough to build the momentum needed to move forward.

This artwork is hand-painted with acrylic on stretched canvas and is finished with a satin varnish. Satin varnish creates a soft, gentle shine that subtly enhances the vibrancy and depth of colours. Felt frame bumpers are applied to each corner for wall protection. It comes ready to hang with braided wire.

Please note that colours may differ slightly from how they appear on your screen due to varying monitor settings.

Artist Bio

My journey as an artist has been one of experimentation, mistakes, and growth. Throughout my life, I have been fascinated with world of creation. I have grown up drawing and painting to my heart’s content. Despite living with a creative appetite, I have spent a long time struggling finding my artistic style. It was not until I faced kidney failure, dialysis, and an organ transplant that my journey as an artist truly blossomed.

Acrylic painting has become my sanctuary. The soft, smooth medium calms my busy mind and helps me find bliss in difficult moments. I am attracted to florals due to the extensive variety. From soft, delicate forms to sharp, thorny edges, there is always a shape and flow to express my passion. I easily worry about intricate details, so my paintings take a step back to focus on dominant colours and shapes.

I invite you to explore my collection and find a piece that brings an unapologetic boldness into your life.
