A collision of emotions, places, atmospheres and acceptance. My paintings are created using multiple layers of opaque and transparent shapes and colour. Initial layers of acrylic paint are painted over with luminescent oils using special mediums to create the transparency. Grounded in the enquiry of botanic forms, the subtle changes through time and season, are captured through abstract and realistic elements that interplay through overlaying colour and form. The 'windows' created play with space and depth drawing the viewer into their enchanting world.
