Sarah Lubcke is a painter that knows no bounds when it comes to colour. Through her vivid and distinct compositions she re-imagines what is known and seen, at times combining with elements of that which is not. Driven by her own child-like curiosities and love of mysteries, all her paintings have messages and meanings beyond the surface. Through viewing her work it is her hope that one will be uplifted and encounter the wonders of life.​
Sarah has been painting and drawing since childhood. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of South Australia, specialising in painting and a Cert IV in design. She also has many years of experience in creative fields such as fashion styling and make up. Sarah has previously volunteered her time teaching art to patients at the Sydney Children's Hospital.

Sarah resides in Adelaide with her husband and 6 y.o twin daughters whom inspire her with their own child like wonder.
She recently gave birth to her third daughter and is enjoying the time spent with her family whilst painting.
