As a little girl I owned a few little baskets, gifted to me by mum for easter filled with chocolate eggs. We didn't grow up on or near a farm but I remember playing 'farm' and liked placing chicken eggs into the basket as if I was collecting them from a chicken coop, using pillows and blankets as the make believe nests. I was recently browsing online and came across a little basket and felt happy nostalgic and wanted to capture it as a still life painting.

The painting comes in a floating white picture frame (pictured). Please note that this painting is done on board and therefore must be sold with the frame.
