This print is a limited edition run of my finalist piece, 'Cosy Sun Soaked Afternoon'. The original painting was inspired by relaxing afternoons and the little things I enjoy. I love the afternoon light that comes through my bedroom. and sitting back on the bed, browsing through my books or strumming on my ukulele.

As an artist, Sarah has a deep and abiding interest in a wide range of subject matters. She brings a sense of curiosity and wonder to her art, constantly pushing the boundaries of her subject matter and technique. One of Sarah's defining traits as an artist is her fascination with small details, which she uses to create a rich and immersive world of sensory experience. Whether it's the delicate interplay of light and shadow on a surface, the intricate patterns and textures of a natural object, or the subtle expressions and movements of the human figure, Sarah has a keen eye for the minutiae of the world around her, often focus on the beauty of details, or moments that are fleeting or unnoticed. Through her art, she seeks to capture these tiny details and bring them to the forefront of the viewer's attention, drawing them into a world that is both real and imagined.

Her artistic practice is centered around contemporary realism, a genre that allows her to explore the human experience with a level of detail and nuance that is both challenging and rewarding. She is drawn to the way in which contemporary realism can capture the complexities of our lives and the world around us, creating powerful and evocative images that resonate with viewers on a deep and emotional level. Sarah believes that contemporary realism has the power to inspire, educate, and transform, and she is committed to pushing the boundaries of this genre in her own work.
