While painting is my primary passion and creative outlet, I love all forms of visual creativity. I love crafting but I particularly love gift wrapping (quite often my wrapping comes in themes every Christmas, and I give a lot of thought to personality themes for birthday gifting). But there's a simple act I love when it comes to crafting (when applicable) and gift-wrapping - the acting of cutting a ribbon. It's extremely satisfying and the ribbon usually acts as the final touch. It's a quick action that is usually unnoticed but this painting was created to mark that simple joyous moment of finality and satisfaction.
