This painting is inspired by relaxing afternoons and enjoying the little things. My partner Sam occasionally likes to pick up his guitar and plays some quick chords and melodies, and to me he always looks so peaceful and relaxed when he does. I also wanted to capture the warm afternoon light streams through blinds.
