My very first exposure to formal art training was around 2010 with an art school class in China. After briefly grasped sketching skills and painting mediums, I discovered a new platform in expressing my enjoyment and celebration of life.
In 2012, I left behind my old phase of life heavily invested in science/business in China and started a new chapter in Australia. Language, culture, social codes… all of these had set me back to pre-school level to learn. Such experiences, half challenging half exciting, provided me with new perspectives to both my inner and outer worlds, while painting remained my true friend along the way.
My exploration of subject matters hasn’t stopped since the beginning: landscape, portrait, abstract, still life and others in between. The mediums I use are mainly oil and acrylic.
Having travelled alone over the past years, I am now reaching out to the wide art community and looking forward to meeting my felow art/fun/life lovers.
