Artwork Description

This artwork needs to be framed.
Signed on the front. Dated, signed and title on the back.

This floral collection is inspired by the beauty found in the temporary nature of flowers and the longevity of pottery. The joy that grows in your garden and love that is held in your home. It celebrates the details that fill a home.

Leaning into a love of colour, texture, gold and a maximalist aesthetic this large A2 painting is a stylised still-life of red and purple flowers in a spherical blue, white and gold vase. The vase is sitting on a colourful floral tablecloth and the painting has a matte mustard background. This painting is done in Watercolour, Ink and Gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper.

This artwork is a one of a kind original . All copyright and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist.

Artist Bio

A self-taught Artist, Writer and lifelong creative, I aim to creatively encourage and brighten peoples homes with my art. With degrees in Performing Arts and Psychology, and over 8 years experience as a group facilitator, I'm passionate about creativity and how it heals us.

I work mainly in watercolour and ink, with gold embellishments or pencil details frequently added. Intricate line work and detailed patterns often appear in my pieces. I'm a botanical artist focusing on flowers and plants, and I have a particular love of moths.

I'm neurodivergent (AuDHD), live in Naarm/Melbourne with my teenage daughter and two small-in-size big-in-personality dogs. I often attend local makers markets in Melbourne selling prints of my art and other beautiful things. In my spare time I'm often found hyper-focusing on a new hobby, writing, painting or reading an unnatural amount.

I love commissions and deeply enjoy the collaborative process of creating a piece of unique artwork for a specific person. I feel it is an honour to create something meaningful for people to cherish and display in their homes.
