Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
An impasto palette knife work, Wave 45 was created when I came across a new shade of handmade pink oil paint in my local art store - inspired by this and standing at the easel, childhood memories spent exploring the wild beaches of Southern Tasmania flooded in. My particular favourite is one I regularly conjure up - lying in bed listening to the waves booming in the distance. This work has recently received a commendation by the judges of the Kingborough Art Prize.
