Artwork Description

I live by a large body of water that offers up immense inspiration. I particularly love it when the water is calm and reflects the sky. The day I took the reference photo for this painting, a summer storm was approaching at sunset from the opposite side of the Basin and there was a lone fisherman sitting in the stillness as it approached, seemingly nonplussed that he was about to be rained on.
