Artwork Description

Prima Ballerina Teagan Lowe of Opera Australia and the Sydney Dance Company doing her thing, posing with strong shadows cast. I wanted to create a modern look with traditional materials reminiscent of the old masters with the red-brown shades of conte pencil. Very simple in it's effect, I worked hard to achieve good anatomical mastery of the proportions of the figure to try and do justice to Teagan Lowe's incredible figure.
