Feeling empathy for the citizens of Ukraine at this horrific time of invasion of their country, I began thinking of how they could or would find hope and some kind of mental sanctuary. It would be perhaps a a beautiful memory of a their past ; that would bring a smile to their lips ir joy to their hearts. Personally, my cultural her takes me back to a hist of ‘ragas ( melody or familiar painting that would revert the chaos around me. So I have used the reds and oranges to signify bloody chaos and fire but the heart of the painting cooler tones to contrast the outer turmoil to the inner peace and protection; sanctuary
