Artwork Description

Each artwork comes paired with words that are written in parallel.

I’ll wait along the outskirts of heaven because they say it’s where I’ll find you. I’ll hold out a spoon full of honey, and bathe in sunlight because those are the things you told me you like. One day I’ll make that trip to the Alps and learn how to snowboard, or at least I’ll write it down on my bucket list, because it’s where I imagine you at your happiest. I’ll continue to stare at the sky and look for all the stars that are about to fall and I promise if it looks like you I’ll catch it. Ill pick flowers before they fall in March - collect, dry, and fold them just incase you visit. I’ll spend the rest of my very long life searching for silhouettes that look like yours and faces that are soft. And then maybe after I’ve done all that, I’ll circle back to the outskirts of heaven and wait some more to find you, so I don’t have to spend much longer without you.

Artist Bio

Sydney based artist.
- 'No house style'.

My connection to art began in my childhood, a place where I found stillness amidst the noise. With a dual upbringing between Sydney and Karachi, I carried a blend of cultures within me, a complexity that my art began to unravel with time.

My journey so far has taught me that my work is not just creation, but expressive therapy. A way to reconnect with myself and understand the threads of my upbringing. Figures, abstract compositions, and colour underpinned by no-house-style are woven through my work, each piece a step in my ongoing journey of self-discovery.

I pride myself on constantly evolving my work, continuing to grow, discovering and rediscovering to find solace in creation and becoming.
