Artwork Description

Each artwork comes paired with words that are written in parallel.

I don’t know a lot about space, or the stars. And I’m not really into astrology, but I know the zodiac compatibility of a Gemini and Taurus was worth giving us a chance.

I don’t know if the earth is really round because I’ve never been that high up, but I know that it spins round and the other word it goes by makes me think of what you might mean to me.

I’m not really sure if there was ever a possibility of us, but that’s what they said before they sent a man to the moon, even if he was never meant to make it all the way up.

The universe feels so big and I feel so small, but I also feel lucky that it gave me the one in a billion chance of finding the map that led me to your planet.

I wish I knew more about circles, and atoms, and science and crossed stars but today I came back from Pluto and I’m just so glad I found you on it.

Artist Bio

Sydney based artist.
- 'No house style'.

My connection to art began in my childhood, a place where I found stillness amidst the noise. With a dual upbringing between Sydney and Karachi, I carried a blend of cultures within me, a complexity that my art began to unravel with time.

My journey so far has taught me that my work is not just creation, but expressive therapy. A way to reconnect with myself and understand the threads of my upbringing. Figures, abstract compositions, and colour underpinned by no-house-style are woven through my work, each piece a step in my ongoing journey of self-discovery.

I pride myself on constantly evolving my work, continuing to grow, discovering and rediscovering to find solace in creation and becoming.
