Watercolour has always been my preferred medium. No other medium gives me that ‘zing’, that magic moment, when colour kisses colour and takes on its own energy turning into, mostly, a joyful outcome. I also enjoy drawing.
I have had no formal training as such except a few workshops, one being 2 weeks in Italy. I always preferred to take on my own journey, to get lost in the process and let each painting take on its own energy. Being a Gemini I tend to move from detailed works, to free flow form. Colour and patterns are what attracts me to any subject.
I have won many awards from Highly Commended to Champion at Woodford Agriculture Show and Woodford Art Gallery Exhibition. I have also sold many paintings from galleries in my area. For me it’s more about the magic of watercolour.
