Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Shearing sheds have a very special atmosphere that tells of the characters of days gone by.
Boogardie shearing shed at Mt Magnet in Western Australia has so many great scenes behind each door. The original shed was built in the 1800s from the lovely local orange granite. Because of drought in the area, the shed hasn't been used for a few years. The sheep have been agisted to greener pastures closer to the coast.
Your friends will be drawn to the warmth in this work and get the stories flowing.
