"Pretty Poison" is a title with tongue in cheek. I think it's such a pretty wildflower. It is commonly called Prickly Poison because it contains 1080 poison and when the British settled in Australia, they lost a lot of livestock to this family of plants. Australian native animals have a natural resistance to the poison in this plant. It's latin name is Gastrolobium spinosum.
This is a print on canvas and the image is mirrored around the sides of the frame, so there is no need for decorative framing. It can be hung directly on your wall
It measures 50cm by 76cm and will be admired by your visitors.
