Le Scurv is a Sydney based abstract expressionist best known for loose spontaneous acrylic, oil and mixed media paintings which evoke movement and emotion. He Draws Inspiration from archeology, evolution, early civilisations, architecture, science, chemistry, human shapes and angles. The artist's name is an alter ego for the painter which allows him to feel free and unrestrained. He sees his pseudonym and signature as graffiti or as a tag which may sometimes be incorporated into the piece leaving the viewer to possibly wonder who's "Le Scurv". He says: "experiment...try breaking the rules...the world's very first artist was not given a rule book to follow". Self taught. Father: architect. Mother: watercolour artist. Sydney 27 years.
